Obituary for Hughston Warren "Hughey" Strawn
Strawn, Hughston Warren "Hugh" 1921-2018
Passed away peacefully at the Welland Hospital with family by his side on Wednesday, February 7, 2018 at the age of 96. Predeceased by his beloved wife Davidina "Mac" Strawn (2004), his brother Manley Strawn (1996) and his sister Doris Morningstar (1990). Survived by his nieces and nephews Neil and Sandra Duncan, Bill and Sharon Farion, Lawrence and Gail Moore, Fred and Marsha Warren and their families.
Family and friends will be received at the JAMES L. PEDLAR FUNERAL HOME, 1292 Pelham Street, Fonthill on Friday, April 6th from 7-9 p.m. The memorial service to honour Hugh's life will take place at the funeral home on Saturday, April 7th beginning at 10:30 a.m.
Interment will take place at Doan's Ridge Cemetery.
As an expression of sympathy donations maybe made to the Welland Hospital, Welland Humane Society or charity of one's choice.
